'The rake on those lower tiers looks worryingly shallow.'

It is. I just hope loads of people haven't been duped into these £99 tickets because most kids under 10 won't see a thing.

Good photo Bulphan.
The rake on those lower tiers looks worryingly shallow. If I was under 5'9" I'd be a bit concerned for my view sat down there.
But talking about atmosphere, the seats behind the goals are so far away not only will they need binocs to see, they'll need fucking load hailers to be heard.

Everything's relative. My son's mate came along. Afterwards he said, "I've been to Arsenal, Chelsea and Fulham" (and somewhere else I think) and West Ham fans were the loudest and the most supportive of the team.

It's true that compared to 30 years ago it's quiet but then we don't have standing anymore. That's not going to change any time soon.

Thanks... about the same then I would say (as current CR gap) and probably closer in the corners.

I think that the OS is looking pretty good (unless you are behind the goal, where as a band 4 I will probably end up!)

Bearing in mind the retractable seating will go part way across, I don't think there will be much difference to the current CR gap... I was looking at the gap last night and it's huge.

The atmosphere at football in this country has gone down at most grounds to be fair. Thought last night was good to be fair. Even the bloke behind me wasnt moaning and calling everyone a cunt.

Der der der der Dimi Payet
Der der der der Victor Moses
Der der der der Andy Carroll

is it any surprise when our two bob fans can only come up with the same generic chant for 3 players

What you can fit a running track in the gap between the CR and the pitch??

Re: Atmosphere at the Boleyn now days
Billy - the distance from the touch line to the chicken run is huge, don't reckon that the East Stand at the OS will be much worse, may even be less? Anyone know... Gavros?

I think that's what I said, didn't I? In that you now need to lob a Mars bar a good way to hit a winger.

Built 3 stands away from the pitch?

Re: Atmosphere at the Boleyn now days
For those that still go to games what's happened?

Simple. They pulled the terraces down and built three stands away from the pitch. Don't worry it will be better next year.
